McGEE, MARIE OPAL - Marie O. McGee of Harvey Station, NB passed away January 6, 2014 at Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton, NB. Marie was born at Smithfield, NB on February 8, 1926, a daughter of the late Thomas and Reta (Burns) Williams. Marie is survived by her husband, Cecil A. McGee; her children, Robert McGee (Laurie Hines), Truro, NS, Bruce McGee (Barb), Trenton, ON and James McGee (Sharon), Harvey Station, NB; five sisters, Mildred Barton, Tracy, NB, Edna Dever, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Bessie Messer (Vaughan), Fredericton, NB, Margaret Moore, Saint John, NB and Barbara MacLaughlin (Donald), Harvey Station, NB; a brother, David Williams, Smithfield, NB; a brother-in-law, Carl Weston, Calgary, AB; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four sisters, Annie Williams, Mary Williams, Hazel Gamblin and Charlotte Weston and a brother, Albert Williams.
In keeping with Marie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will be held at the Acton Cemetery at a later date.
