Charles 'Buddy' Clements

It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the peaceful passing of Charles 'Buddy' Clements at home surrounded by his loving family on Jan. 6. 2014.
Born in Port Morien, he was the son of the late Fred and Iris (Nearing) Clements.
Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Murdena (McQueen); children, Veronica (Tom O’Keefe), Charlene Keylor, Cathy (Gerry Brown), Paula (Kevin McNamara), Allan (Carrie), Brad and also Annette Power who is like one of the family; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; siblings, Francis Loiseau, Betty Grant, Walter (Joan), Eldon (Barbara), Yvonne (Louie), Elaine (John), Karen (Lloydie), Julie (Albert), Linda (Gord), Kay (Mike) and sister-in-law, Judy.
He was predeceased by his siblings Freddie, Wayne and Joan
Visitation will be (today) Wednesday, Jan. 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 9, 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Church. The Rev Norman MacPhee will be officiating. Cremation will follow the service and interment in the spring.
Family flowers only please. Donations may be made to Palliative Care or Mass for Shut-ins. The family request no scents.
