Hounsell
Lloyd Hounsell - 79 years of Valleyfield passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Brookfield Hospital. Predeceased by his parents; Edgar and Gwendolyn Hounsell, wife; June (Best), brothers; Aaron, Allan and Herbert and sister; Fanny Best: Brother in Laws: Gordon Miller, Martin Stokes, and Sam Goodyear. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife; Myra (Goodyear), sons; Terrance (Roxanne) of Mount Pearl and Glenn (Roxane) of Greenspond, step-daughters; Beulah Brown (Charlie) of Wesleyville, Sheila McCarthy (Paul) of Valleyfield and Glenda Burry (Arthur) of Badger’s Quay, brother; Ronald (Marie) of Brampton, Ontario, sister; Daisy Dowding (Bill) of Mount Pearl, grandchildren; Shannon, Chad, Veronica and Morgan, step-grandchildren; Terry, Angelica and Nikita; Sister In Laws : Irene Burry( Otto ), Rita Hounsell, Emma Hounsell, Melina Humphries (Lloyd), Maxine Miller, Edith Stokes, and Iola Goodyear; Brother In Laws: Joesph Best(Violet), Beaton Best(Muriel), Stewart Best(Neta), Charlie Goodyear(Mellie) and a large circle of other family and friends. Funeral service took place on December 28, 2013 at The Grace Pentecostal Church, Valleyfield with Pastor William Burton officiating. Interment followed from the Anglican cemetery, Pound Cove. In his memory, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Ronald McDonald House, Newfoundland and Labrador.
