Mr. Charles Henry Landru, 79, of Glace Bay passed away on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at his home in Taigh na Mara.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Emile and Jean (Vercommen) Landru.
Charles is survived by his wife, Leona Landru; sister, Jean Toomey (the late Gerald); brother, Emile (Ella) Landru; stepbrother, Frank Verberien (Trudy) and his nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Charles was predeceased by brother, Edgar and sisters-in-law, Glenda and Trudy.
By request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home, Glace Bay.
Donations in memory of Charles may be made to Taigh na Mara.
