GAUTREAU, CAMILLE - Camille Gautreau passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the Foyer Camille E. Gaudet in Memramcook, NB at the age of 90. Born January 23, 1923 in Pré-d’en-Haut, he was the son of the late Anthony and Dora (Gould) Gautreau. Camille spent many winters working for Canadian Pacific Railways at the Saint-John, NB dockyard. He is better known however as a farmer where his true passion was. He was also a member of the Club d’âge d’or of Pré-d’en-Haut. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters Althéa (late Yvon) Dupuis, Dieppe, Lilianne (Ernest) Hébert, Pré-d’en-Haut and Doris Léger, Moncton; sisters-in-law Dorilla Gautreau, Thérese Gautreau, brother in law Léonard Gionet as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by three sisters Prima LeBlanc, Laurraine Gaudet and Marguerite Gionet and by two brothers Alfred, François and Laurie Gautreau.
Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 Rte de la Vallée, Memramcook on Wednesday, January 15, 7 to 9 pm and Thursday, January 16, from 2 to 4 pm. The funeral mass will be held at Notre-Dame-de-l’Annonciation Church in Pré-d’en-Haut on Thursday, January 16 at 7 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
