Passed peacefully away at the palliative care unit at the Miller Centre on Sunday, January 19, 2014 after a valiant fight with cancer. Predeceased by his wife, Bridget (Morrissey) and second wife, Mary (Breaker). Leaving to mourn son, Reginald (Darlene) and two daughters, Suzi (Brian) Anderson, Leslie ( Mike) Fox, sisters, Maxine (Derick) Bursey, Nancy (Harold) Cooper and Judy (Mike) Ludlow; brothers, Robert (Connie) and David (Jackie), five beloved grandchildren, his special friend, Tina Bartlett and faithful companion Binoo, along with many other relatives and friends. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from Broughton's Memorial Chapel, Brigus.
