(Bell Island) - Entered into eternal rest on January 20, 2014. Mabel slipped quietly away at Dr. Walter Templeman Health Centre, at the age of 96 years. Reunited with her father Josiah, her mother Elizabeth, sister Blanche and nephew Johnny. Mabel leaves to mourn the love of her life, her best friend and soul mate of 35 years, Albert Miller, her niece Colleen Jones, extended family Martha Clarke, Mary Stagg and Walter Miller and a large circle of friends. Mabel lived a quiet existence and was well known on Bell Island as a kind hearted woman. She loved music and enjoyed going for a drive. Thank you is extended to the staff at Dr. Walter Templeman Centre, Wanda Noseworthy and Rev. Gary Parsons for his valued friendship through the years. Special thanks to Helen and Wayne Littlejohn for their care and support. Resting at Pendergasts Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan 22nd from noon to 9 p.m. Service at St. Cyprians Church Jan 23rd at 2:00 p.m. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
