PARKINSON, William (Bill) - Went peacefully as he slept on January 16, 2014, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Goodwin), who led the way in 2009. Loving father of Simon, Adrian, David, Cathie and Tim. Doting grandfather to Arielle, Olivia, Darian, Benjamin and Paige. Well loved by daughters in-law and son in-law. Bill was a veteran of Her Majesty's Royal Navy, and a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Good friend to many in his former town of residence, Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia. Bill has donated his body to medical study and the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the research of Parkinson's disease. The organization of choice is the Michael J. Fox foundation.
