Mugridge, Sterling Nelson, 65, of Fort Ellis, Colchester County, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at home. Born on September 20, 1948 in Alberton, Prince Edward Island. He was a son of the late Nelson and Matilda (MacIsaac) Mugridge. Sterling spent most of his working life in the trucking industry. Surviving are his wife, the former Linda Rhoddy; sons, Steven (Rosie) , Summerside, P.E.I.; Craig (Melanie), Summerside, P.E.I.; grandchildren, Evan, Cole, Dylan, Alyssa, all of Summerside; sister, Liane (Kenny) Dixon, Summerside; Brother, Edward (Rena), Ellerslie; stepsons, James (Maureen) Lorencovitch, Dartmouth; Robert Lorencovitch, Dartmouth; step-grandchildren, Johnathan, Alik, Mikayla, Allena, Sadie, all of Dartmouth; extended family members, Crystal, Jayme, Meranda, Jillian, Jaxson, all of Summerside; Danae, A’Mya, Ja’Mai, Amari’Ah, Lynn, Tricia, Chasta, all of Dartmouth. Predeceased by brothers, Warren and Alfred; sister, Velma Mugridge; nephew, Andrew Dixon. Memorial service was held 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, 194 King Street, Windsor. Pastor Jennifer Riley officiated. Interment was in the Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor. Donations in memory were requested to be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or any charity.
