Jane Edith Van Dyck (nee Hermann) passed away peacefully with her family at her side Sunday, January 26, at Cadigan Lodge in Topsham, Maine. She was predeceased by her daughter, Linda Crewe, and her husband, Peter D. Van Dyck.
She is survived by her son Christian Van Dyck and his wife Donna, of Brunswick, ME; her son Timothy Van Dyck and his wife Mary Liz, of Wellesley, MA; her daughter Marcia Segelstein and her husband James, of Weston, CT, and her son-in-law William Crewe of Pepperell, MA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Peter and Nathaniel Crewe, Sebastian and Theo Van Dyck, Christian and Grace Van Dyck, and Katie and Jack Segelstein. Jane was born July 24, 1929 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where she lived until her marriage. She and Peter raised their children in Kenmore, New York before moving to East Ragged Island, Nova Scotia. A requiem Mass will be held at the parish of All Saints, Ashmont in Dorchester, MA on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 11:30 am.
