It is with great sadness the family of Elsie D. Reid of Bain Harbour announces her passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on January 22nd at the age of 94 years.
Leaving to mourn son Hayward (Alice) of Grand Bank; daughter Joyce (Leo) of Baine Harbour, 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 Great great grandchildren; daughters-in-law Daphne Lake and Elizabeth Reid; special friend and homecare worker Mary Vaters plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by Brother Cyril Whittle; sister Beulah Kenway; Children Morgan and Leslie and husband Roy Reid.
Rev. Jeff Blackwood officiated Funeral Service from St. Mark's Anglican Church, Saturday at 2PM with interment following at Anglican Cemetery, Baine Harbour.
Pall Bearers were Sterling Gaulton, Lindsay Barrett, Darrell Reid, Jeffrey Reid, Roy Reid and Randall Harris.
