The death of George Moase occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at the age of 82. Born on June 2, 1931, in New Annan, Prince Edward Island, George was the son of the late Harold and Anna (Riley) Moase and loving husband to Mary (Campbell) Moase of Geary, N.B. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Shelley Moase (Mike Owen) of Oshawa, ON, Alan Moase of Geary, NB, Harold Moase (Janet) of Ripples, NB, and Donna Moase (Corey Langdon) of Oshawa, ON; grandchildren, Christopher Moase, Angela Moase, MacKenzie Langdon-Moase and Liam Owen-Moase; great-grandchildren, Landon Moase and Mya Moase. George was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Thelma. Visitation for George will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 31, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A graveside service will take place on P.E.I. at a later date.
