Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre on her birthday on January 29, 2014, Elizabeth Miller aged 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Joseph; son Spencer and daughter Brenda. Leaving to Mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Wayne (Betty), Marilyn (Phillip Hudson), Don (Lorraine), and Derrick (Joanne); 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; also a large number of relatives and friends. The family would like to say a special Thank you to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the L.A. Miller Centre and to 4 South B of the HSC for the care and compassion to mom during her time there. Also a special Thank you to Rev. Gary Parsons and Elaine and Peter for all your visits and prayers. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Friday January 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday February 1 from 10-Noon. Funeral service to be held on Saturday February 1 from St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow.
