It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Fran peacefully Feb. 1, 2014.
Born in Sydney NS, the only child of Nicholson John and Lavinia (Ginn) MacLeod.
Survived by her loving soul mate and husband for 67 years, Cecil; son Graham (Vicki); daughter Debra (Ken); grandson Nicholson (Amy) and extended family.
Throughout Fran’s life she followed Cecil in his career and lived in Bridgewater, Kentville, and settled in Dartmouth in 1961. Fran worked and retired from Peat Marwick in 1992.
Her life was filled with a multitude of friends, love and laughter.

A Celebration of life will be held on February 7, 2014, at the
Atlantic Funeral Home, from 2 - 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations in Fran’s name may be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
