It is with the greatest sadness that the family of the late Anne Veronica Bennett announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 4th, 2014 at the age of 81 years, surrounded by her loving family. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Judy Bennett (Gordon Pennell) and Lynn Bennett (Gerard Blais); her only son, Charles Bennett (Karen Dawe); her two precious ­granddaughters: Crystal Rose (John Bodner) and Julia King (Jeff); sisters: Agnes, Fran and Pauline; brother, Joseph; good friend, Robert Rose; the Rose, Pennell, King and Dawe families, as well as all of her other dear friends and relatives. Anne was predeceased by her loving husband, Albert Bennett, 1993; and her daughter Sandra, 1989. Cremation has taken place at Anne's request. All arrangements are entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, St. Mark's Ave., Corner Brook, where the family will be receiving friends and family on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will take place on Friday, February 7th at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Church on Park St., Corner Brook; Marilyn Avery officiating.
