Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 1030 a.m., Rev. Harvey Harris of Shoal Harbour, aged 82 years. Predeceased by his parents John and Sophia Harris of Glovertown and brother Fred. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Pansy Harris of 60 years; daughter Deborah Mayo, Ottawa, ON; sons Daryl, Cold Lake, AB and David, Moncton, NB; grandchildren Gerry, Kathy, Michael, Jeremy and Justin; great grandchildren William, Sophia and Gerry; sisters Eva and Dorothy; brother Evan; special cousins Bessie Cheeks and Eddie Howse; and a large circle of additional family and friends. Resting at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville on Friday, February 7 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. & Saturday, February 8 from 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2014 from Shoal Harbour United Church with interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shoal Harbour United Church in his memory.
