Our heartfelt thank you goes out to all our wonderful and supportive family and friends who attended our wife and mother Marie's prayer service on Jan 10. Thank you to Father MacPhee, for officiating at the service and to godson Michael, grandson Thomas and brother- in- law Jude for assisting with the readings. Thank you to MacGillivrays Funeral Home, for their assistance. A gracious and appreciative thank you is extended to our family, friends, neighbours and colleagues for their kindness, support, assistance, and words of comfort. A sincere thank you is acknowledged for all the cards, online condolences, phone calls, visits, meals, baking, elaborate food trays, flowers and charitable donations. We are grateful for your love, friendship and generosity. We will always be indebted to the nurses, caregivers and support staff of 3rd and 4th floor as well as Emergency Department Glace Bay General Hospital, Cape Breton Regional Hospital and Northside Guest Home and especially the Seaview Manor where she spent the last three years. Also to Doctors Crieghton, Poulos, McVicar, Rose McKay, Meaghan Keating and Dr. Gordon Spencer, we were fortunate to have her under your care. God bless you all who treated Marie with compassion and dignity and helped to make her daily struggles a little easier.
