FLANAGAN (CROSSMAN), KATHLEEN "DORIS" - (1927 - 2014) - REXTON, NB - Doris Flanagan, 86, of Rexton passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home on Thursday, February 6, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Molus River, she was the daughter of the late William and late Bella (McLellan) Crossman. Doris was a member of St. Andrew's United Church, U.C.W., Rexton Golden Age Club and a life member of the Rexton Lioness. Doris will be sadly missed by her two daughters; Juanita Hebert (Robert) of Rexton, Shirley Eden (Ken) of Niagra on the Lake, ON, two sons; Billy Flanagan (Juliette) of Rexton, Brian Swift (Louise) of Fredericton, seven grandchildren; Robbie, Tricia, Ryan, Miranda, Sarah, Rebecca, Leanna and five great grandchildren; Jonathan, Alik, Hailey, Jacob and Dylan. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by an infant sister; Viola and three brothers; Johnny, Caleb and Eddie.
Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm, St. Andrew's United Church, Rexton. Interment will be at a later date. Donations in Doris's memory may be made to the Rexton Lions Nursing Home Residents Activities and would be appreciated by the family.
