Allison 'Junior' Ross, who resided at 312 Esplanade, Sydney (formerly, Argyle Street), passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014.
Born in Sydney Mines, Junior was the son of the late Allison 'Allie' and Alice (Miller) Ross.
Junior was formerly employed in the maintenance department of the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board. Thursday night bingo at the Westmount Legion, with his daughter, Shelley, was something he looked forward to each week.
Junior is survived by his pride and joy, daughter, Shelley (Jason) Noseworthy, Blackett's Lake, whom he loved so very much; former wife, Joan (Gould) Ross; brother-in-law, Bill Reid, Lawrencetown and nephews, Christopher and Cory.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Mary Reid.
Family and friends are invited to share in a celebration of Junior’s life at the home of his daughter (1720 Coxheath Rd., Blackett’s Lake) from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9. Interment will take place at a later date.
