ST. PIERRE, MADGE A. - Madge A. St. Pierre passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Ridgewood Veterans Wing, Saint John. Born on March 9, 1924 she was a daughter of the late Peter and Bessie (Moffatt) MacDougall. Madge was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 10, Toronto. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She had a great love for animals. Surviving are her children, Eileen Landry (Tony Trecartin), Grand-Bay, Alan St. Pierre, Moncton, and granddaughter, Jennifer (Mario) Arseneault, Miramichi; brother, Graham MacDougall; sister, Jeannie Machmer, both of Toronto; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lyle St. Pierre; brothers, Clarke, Ralph and Gord; sisters, Ruth and Elsie.
At the request of the family there will be no public viewing. The funeral service will held on Monday, February 10, 2014, at 6:00 PM from Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John (634-7425).
