FITZGERALD, RONALD "RON" - Ronald “Ron” Louis Fitzgerald, Musquodoboit Harbour, age 67, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Amherst he was a son of the late Kenneth and Clara (Archibald) Fitzgerald. Ron recently retired after 25 years with Stantec formerly Jacques Whitford. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan and loved the outdoors including fishing and golfing. Grampy Ron also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Ron is survived by son, Larry (Connie), Limehouse, Ont; daughter Angela (Joe) Crummey, Fredericton, NB; siblings Patricia Duchaine, Coquitlam BC, twin brother Donald, Toronto, Reginald (Linda), Calgary, James (Cynthia), Fredericton, Alice (Eric Smith) Fitzgerald, Wickham, NB; grandchildren, Connor Fitzgerald, Kyle Fitzgerald, Teagan Fitzgerald, Micah Crummey, Noah Crummey, Jared Crummey and Anna Crummey and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by Ron’s beloved dog Dawn. He was predeceased by son David and sister Janice.
