Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness in the presence of his family on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Edward Ash, aged 81 years, predeceased by his daughter-in-law Edith; brother Herbie (1953); daughter Mary (1960); parents Edward and Martha Ash; and his sisters Ethel Richards and Alice Brown. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 61 years, Angeline and his children, Linda Ash of N.S., Edward, Patricia Ashley (Chris), Angeline Ash, Lorraine Pearce (Bill) and Regina Ash-Ralph (Michael). Also leaving his 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and his sisters Mildred Brown and Margaret Tucker. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from St. Teresa's Church with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Edward's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
