PAGE, RONALD ALLISON MB - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ronald Page announce his death at the Veterans Health Unit on Monday, February 10th, 2014 at the age of 96. Born in Woodstock, New Brunswick, he was the husband of the late Irma (Mawhinney) Page of Fredericton. Ronald leaves behind his children, Diane Arnold (Douglas) of Waterloo, ON, Donald Page (Nancy MacLeod) of Sussex, David Page (Leanne) of Saint John and Janet North (Hartland) of Fredericton; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and niece, Susan Storring (Jim) of Dartmouth, NS. In addition to his wife of 61 years, Irma, Ronald was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Hattie (Arbuckle) Page; brother, John; daughter-in-law, Marilyn; and dear friend, Mary Bowlin. Ronald was a World War II veteran who served his country in the Navy. After retiring from Wood Motors he stayed very active with gardening, cooking, woodworking and photography. He also enjoyed jewellery making and going on cruises. Ronald was also the proud recipient of a Medal of Bravery. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Veterans Health Unit for the kindness and caring they showed to Ronald during his stay there.
