Reginald Gagnon

GAGNON, RÉGINALD - 1960 - 2014 - Réginald "Reg" Gagnon, 53, of Montreal passed away at home on February 4th, 2014 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Cap-Pelé on February 20th 1960, he was the son of the late Léo-Paul Gagnon and Alice (Donelle) Gagnon. Reg obtained his bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick in 1983, earning the Governor General's medal for outstanding academic achievement. He always kept close ties with UNB and in 2012 left a legacy gift to the university for the benefit of future students (http://unb.uberflip.com/i/110020/35). He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years Vivianne Bois, his mother Alice of Cap-Pelé, sisters Yvette LeBlanc (Jean-Guy) of Cap-Pelé, Diane Broderick of Moncton, brothers Maurice Gagnon (Louise) of Cap-Pelé, Roland Gagnon (Jacqueline) of Saint John, his parents-in-law Raymond and Claire Bois of Boucherville Qc, many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and his cat of 14 years Felix.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Église Saint-Sébastien, 780 Rue Pierre-Viger, Boucherville on Saturday, February 22nd at 1pm. Funeral ceremony will follow at 3pm. In memory of Reg, a contribution to Fondation Hôpital de Verdun (www.fondationhopitalverdun.org), or to the donor's choice would be appreciated.
