In Loving memory of our Sister,
Darlene Marie (Burton) Hall
who passed away February 18, 2013.
She was our older sister, five younger brothers she had
The only daughter, to a great Mom and Dad.
She was never too busy, and had the warmest heart
Oh and how our life changed, when we were ripped apart.
Days turned into weeks, then months, and now a year
No sun has risen, shone or set, without a big tear.
Just one more Christmas, or just one more special cake
Just one more trip with her girls, or sailing on the lake.
We can wish, we can want, and we can play out the day
We know it can’t happen, no matter how much we pray.
It has left a pain in our hearts, we would not wish on another
If only we could take the pain, from our father and mother.
She was a Daughter, a Mother, an Aunt, a Niece, a Sister-in-law, and Wife
Who loved her family, her work, and truly enjoyed life.
There are no magic words, nor a phrase from these five men,
As we wait to see her smile, and feel her hug once again.
Always in our hearts and sadly missed,
