Christian Dunn, age 37, of Moose Jaw passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2014. Christian was born in Moose Jaw and attended Prince Arthur and Peacock schools. After completing high school he spent time in British Columbia, lived briefly in Regina, before returning to Moose Jaw. Christian’s passion was sound and music production, including such venues as the Mae Wilson Theatre, the Park Hotel, and most recently Java Express. Predeceased by his grandfather Bill Dunn, he is survived by his Grandma Catherine Dunn; his mom Esther Dunn (Gary); aunt Val (Marv) Wiks; uncles, Ian (Carol) Dunn and Andrew Dunn; sisters Krista (Jason) Hauser, and Lisa (Robbie) Lamb; cousins, Pam, Cory, Angie, Chris, James, Michael, Miranda, and Andrew. A Celebration of Christian’s life will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 2 Wintergreen Drive, on Monday February 17, 2014 at 3:00 pm, with Majors Mervyn and Rosena Halvorsen officiating. Donations in Christian’s memory made to the CMHA, directed to the Dave Batters Memorial Foundation, c/o 650 Coteau St. W., Moose Jaw, SK, S6H 5E6, the Diabetes Association, or to a charity of choice, would be appreciated.
