Sanford, Ronald Elmer-79, Three Mile Plains, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2014 at home, with his family by his side. Born in Curry's Corner on February 28, 1934, he was a son of the late Arthur and Gladys (Sanford) Sanford. Ron was employed at Fundy Gypsum for 46 years and enjoyed being out working on his farm. He treasured his time spent with his family, Church family and his animals. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Regina (Spencer), son Randall (Tracey), grandson Joseph, brother David (Joan), sister-in-laws Polly, Pauline, Florence, Hilda, nieces, nephews and special nieces Angie and Stacy. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother Arthur "Junior" and sister Audrey (John). A very special thank-you to Dr. James Leahy and the VON nurses. Cremation has taken place with visitation and a celebratation of Ron's life, both in the Street Level Ministries Church, Newport Station. Pastor Marshall Caldwell and Pastor Burt Walsh officated, and interment wil be at a later date.
