It is with great sadness the family announces Murray Whiting’s sudden passing, at the age of 82 years, on February 11, 2014 in Vernon, BC. Murray is survived by his loving wife Tina to whom he was married for fifty years, son Rod (Sheri), daughter Patti, sister Doreen of Calgary, 2 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Murray was a 48 year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and catered for 16 years at the OUC cafeteria. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Eagles Hall (5101 25 Avenue, Vernon, BC).
