DOUCET, BERNICE - Bernice Doucet passed away peacefully at The Villa Providence in Shediac, with her loving daughter Monique by her side. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Adélard Léger and Elise LeBlanc. She is survived by her loving husband Norman Doucet; children Jerry Doucet (Judy), Bernita Boucher (Remi), Bermond Doucet (Margaret), Monique Boudreau (Bertrand), Nicole Doucet, Roger Doucet, Serge Doucet (Sandra), Jules Doucet. Grandchildren; Christopher, Sabrina, Danielle, Marcel, Brandy, Ashley ,Jessica, Krista and great-grandchildren; Logan, Ella, Elias, Marissa, Isabelle, Sami and by several nieces and nephews. She also leaves to mourn two brothers, Roger Leger (Marion) of California, Bermond Leger (Pierrette) of Quebec, sisters, Patricia Sheard (Larry) of Moncton and Rosemond Kelly (Frank) of Ontario. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Muriel Collette (Jean).
A church service will be held at Notre Dame De La Paix, on Murphy Avenue in Moncton on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2p.m. In lieu flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Villa Providence in Shediac - 403 Main, Shediac, NB E4P 2B9, who cared so well for her in her final days.
