At the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge in Eldon on Monday, November 3, 2008, of Stella Gertrude Sullivan, formerly of Cardigan, age 89 years. Daughter of the late John L. and Annie (Gill) Sullivan. Dear sister of Reta Smith, Halifax, and Mary (Raymond) Fitzpatrick, Montague. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Helena, Leona, Joan and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Margaret Hurst, Bertha O’Neil; brothers, George, Alban, Urban, Eugene; and brothers-in-law, Howard Smith and Norman Hurst. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home until Thursday at 2 p.m., then to All Saint’s Church, Cardigan, for funeral mass at 2:30 pm. Interment in the All Saints Parish Cemetery.
