The death occurred, surrounded by the love of her family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, November 5, 2008, of Mrs. Joan B. Bradley (nee Dunn) of Charlottetown, age 67 years. Beloved wife and companion of Frank J. “Pooch” Bradley for 48 years. Joan will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her daughters, Trish (Stephen) Macdonald, Darlene Dunn (Bruce Norton), Shelly (Greg) Tingman, Lisa (David) MacFadyen, Pam (Tyson) Kelly, and son-in-law, Wayne Bernard. She was the treasured grandmother of Stephanie and Luke Macdonald, Samantha Tingman, Alyssa and Jack MacFadyen and Bradley Kelly. She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in both the Waters and Bradley families, nieces and nephews, and many cherished friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Barb on August 30, 2008; her parents, Willard and Gertrude (Doucette) Dunn; and sister, Patricia (Alfred) Waters. Resting at the Charlottetown Funeral Home, 33-35 Longworth Avenue, until 9:45 Saturday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. If so desired, memorials in Joan’s memory may be made to the Dr. Harry Callaghan Pediatric Foundation or the P.E.I. Chapter of the Children’s Wish Foundation.
