It is with sad and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stewart MacDougall, of Gabarus, on Sunday, February 16, 2014.
Born in Gabarus on May 24, 1943, he was the son of the late Neil and Flora Ann (MacLeod) MacDougall.
Stewart is survived by his sisters, Myrtle Saunders and Nellie Hardy, Gabarus; brother, Jackie (Chrissie) MacLeod, Sydney; aunt, Effie Lewis, Sydney; six nephews, two nieces, as well as a number of great-nephews and great-nieces.
He was predeceased by his brother, Neil Alex; great-nephew, Cyril Hardy; and brother-in-law, Eddie Hardy.
Per Stewart’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Interment will take place in Zion Cemetery, Gabarus Lake at a later date.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
