PERRY, JOHN - John Colby Perry of the Kingston Peninsula, NB, husband of the late Patricia Ann Perry passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital due to complications to cancer on Monday, February 17, 2014 at the age of 85. Born in 1929 in Cody's, NB son to the late D'orlan Perry and Nellie Etta (Black) Perry. John dedicated his life to the Lord Jesus and his four sons. John is survived by his four sons John A. Perry (Lori) of Sussex, Ronald D. Perry of Kingston, Peter A. Perry (Melissa) of Saint John and Dean W. Perry (Patty) of Sussex; grandchildren Leihanne, Jonathan, Tricia, Stephanie, DJ, Tristen, Jeremiah Lee, Corey, Liam, Christopher, Megan, Chloe and Jillian; great grandchildren Kolby Ann and Riley Perry; sister Betty Steeves of Fredericton. In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by his sisters Elva Williams, Emma Jean Wiggins and Marrietta Fanjoy and brother Gordon Perry.
Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances in memory of John made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
