Abbott
Passed peacefully away at The Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Saturday, February 15, 2014 Alma Abbott age 99 years of Musgrave Harbour. Predeceased by her husband Beaton Abbott; brothers Orville and Joe; sister Margaret. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son David Abbott ( Laura) of Musgrave Harbour; daughter Eva Duggan (Gerry) of St. John’s; 6 grandchildren Dwayne (Jeanette), Davy, Sue Ellen (Todd), John Paul (Michelle), Chris and Jamie; 10 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends, especially her friends at North Pond Manor, Torbay where she resided. Funeral service took place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Musgrave Harbour on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Majors Barry and Donna Anstey officiating. Interment followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgrave Harbour. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
