Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Complex on Sunday, February 16, 2014, James Brophy age 78 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Cassie; brothers: Ross and Reg; sisters: Kathleen and Margaret. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Joan (nee Hillier); daughter Dianne of Halifax; son's: David (Sheila) of Selkirk, Manitoba, Jimmy (Valerie) of Ottawa, Ontario, Kenny (Lesa) of Vancouver, BC, grandchildren: Kourtni, Kelsey, Alexander and Logan; great grandchildren: Cameron and Claire; brothers: Calvin (Ethel) of Jackson's Arm, Gerald (Barbara) of Daniel's Harbour; sister Patricia Kettle of St. John's; sisters-in-law: Florence Stanford of Mt. Pearl, Grace Brophy of Rodickton, Verna Horan of St. John's as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation and Funeral service will take place at a later date.
