BEALS, RUTH ANN CHRISTINE “CHRIS” - Ruth Ann Christine “Chris” Beals, 61, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, February 17, 2014 following a short and very courageous battle with cancer. Born in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late Barcley and Veronica (Underhill) Christopher. Chris was an LPN at The Moncton Hospital with 40 years’ service. She was a member of the LPN Association and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Chris will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 23 years, David “Dave” Beals; precious children, Angela Summerfeld (Niall) of Banff, AB, Andrew Beaton, Christopher Beals (Zaikra Fullerton), Wendy Andrew and Lori Taylor (Carey), all of Moncton; cherished grandchildren, Cassidy, Caelen, Taylor, Cali, Woden; brother, Vaughan Christopher (Del) of Bathurst and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to their dear friends, Marg, Nancy, Lynn and Gary for the love and care shown to Chris throughout her illness.
In keeping with Chris’ wishes, there will be no visitation hours. A Celebration of Life Service for Chris will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 11:00 am with Pastor Paul Pattison officiating. Refreshments in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
