Dwyer, Richard “Rick” Terence, born June 13, 1948 in Port Arthur, Ontario, passed away in his 66th year at home in Kempt Shore, on Sunday, February 16, 2014. He was the son of the late Terence and Marjorie (Moore) Dwyer. Rick was a former Naval member, an avid fisherman, painter, and founding member of the Virtual ACA; he loved to volunteer at the local Windsor and District Food Bank. He is survived by his children, Sean (Dawn) Dwyer, Ottawa; Angela (Kevin) Henderson, Alberta; Terry (Miranda) Dwyer, New Minas. His pride and joy were his grandchildren; Zachary, Connor, Jordin, Molly, Mercedes, Grace, Jovy, Rio and great-granddaughter, Calleigh. Also survived by sisters, Maureen (Bob) Kline, Ontario; Roxanne (Greg) Gaudet, Windsor, Hants County; lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered by friends Ethel, Ruby and Arnold. Predeceased by his granddaughter, Jocelyn. Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, Windsor, and there will be no visitation or service by his personal request.
