(Nee Batterton) Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, at the L.A.Miller Centre on March 15, 2008 Catherine Josephine Malone of King's Cove at the age of 97 years. Predeceased by her parents Philip and Margaret (Devine), her husband Peter Malone and her first husband Leo Kennedy; her sisters Elizabeth and Mary; her brothers James, John and Daniel. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her brother, Brother Patrick J. Batterton, sister-in-law Rita (Stamp) Batterton and many relatives and friends. Resting at Cauls Funeral Home on Sunday March 16, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Monday, March 17, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 18 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's, Mundy Pond. Interment at Belvedere Cemetery. Grateful thanks to the staff of Woodford's Golden Care Home, Holyrood, for their attentive care of her during the last years of her life, and to the staffs of st. Clare's Hospital and the Palliative care unit, L.A. Miller Centre, for their kind attention during her last days.
