At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, with his loving family by his side, of Brian Lee Arthur, beloved husband of Elsie (nee MacAusland) Arthur of Alberton, age 54 years. Loving father to Sabrina (Cory Gavin) and caring grandfather to Ava. Cherished son of Elmer and Wanda (nee Wallace) Arthur of Alberton. Dear brother to Barry (Ruth) of Elmsdale, Beverly (Paul Goguen) of Alberton, and Brent (Christina) of Alberton. Loving grandson to Ruth Wallace of Alberton, and son-in-law to Bev (Basil) MacAusland-Chaisson of Charlottetown. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanetta (Allan) Smallman of Calgary; Janet (Albert) Bernard of Alberton; Connie (Norman) Gaudette of St. Felix; Donald MacAusland of Charlottetown; Denise (Sterling) MacNeill of Cornwall; Kyle (Bonnie) MacAusland of Winnipeg, Manitoba; and Natasha MacAusland of Stratford. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and by his many friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, John and Olive (nee Inman) Arthur, and Ira Wallace and by his father-in-law Robert MacAusland. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Tuesday from the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene at 11 a.m., Pastor Sheila McCrea-MacCallum officiating. Interment later in the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.
