The death occurred after a brief illness on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown of Clarence Rose of North Lake, age 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Pat Rose. Loving father of Heather (Blair) LaPierre and Donna (Terry)Campbell. Fondly remembered by grandchildren; Jody LaPierre, Tracy (Haldane)Croucher, Jamie-Lyn LaPierre and three great grandchildren; Jack LaPierre, Caitlyn Croucher and Simon Croucher and special nephews; Robin Rose, Jimmy Walkins and niece Alice Rose. Predeceased by son; Gerry Rose, brothers; Earl, Cecil, Lloyd Rose and sisters; Edith Stoner and Mable Rose. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Saturday afternoon, February 22, 2014 from 3 - 7 pm. Funeral to be held on Sunday afternoon, February 23, 2014 at South Lake Christian Church for funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment in the South Lake Christian Cemetery.
