The death occurred at Prince County Hospital on Thursday February 20, 2014 of Mary Helen Ford, Springhill, aged 92 years, wife of the late Fred Ford. Mary was the daughter of the late Wesley and Katherine “Katie” Moore. Dear mother to Katherine (Harold) Mitton, Stratford; Rosalie Grigg, Quispamsis, N.B. and Joy (David) Palmer, Springhill. Loving grandmother to Dr. Gregory (Natalie) Mitton, Stratford; Stephen (Julie) Mitton, St. Teresa; Robert (Heather) Mitton, Stratford; Karen (Joel) Cousins, Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B.; Katie Grigg (Barrett Boles), Edmonton, AB; Ryan Grigg, Quispamsis, N.B.; Jonathan Palmer (Megan MacSwain)), Halifax, N.S. and Jordan Palmer, Australia and great grandchildren: Darian, Shaul, Taylor, Kail, Jacob, Brier and Marlie.
She was also survived by sister in law Etta Ford, Springhill. Predeceased by her husband Fred, February 27, 2002, parents, son in law Winston Grigg, sisters: Florence Birch and Avis Penwarden. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Saturday February 22, 2014 from 5-8pm. Funeral service on Sunday February 23, 2014 at1:30pm in the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow in People’s Cemetery, Victoria West.
