Helen Mary Elizabeth née Strain, beloved wife of Thomas Armstrong Smith; dear mother of Jane, Paul and Anne-Marie; grandmother (Oma) of Chip, Ava and Max; mother-in-law of Thomas Christie and Deirdre Wade. Her family is deeply appreciative of the care given to her during her long battle with cancer by the doctors, nurses and staff of the Oncology and Palliative Care Units at the Hospital and most recently by NB Extra Mural Hospital Team.
Funeral Service and Requiem Eucharist will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, 12:00 noon on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 with the Very Reverend Keith Joyce presiding. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, may be made to the Oncology or Palliative Care Units at the DECH or to the Christ Church Cathedral Restoration Fund.
