Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. Johns, NL, on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, ELIZABETH LEONA STACEY, of Marystown, NL, in her 73rd year. Leaving to mourn her loving son Carlson, Marystown, daughters Marie Coady (Alex), Marystown, Leona Rose (Clyde), Burin, Alberta Mitchell (Victor), Marystown, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; brother Harold Brewer (Mary), Nova Scotia, sisters Margaret Madden (Raymond), Ottawa, ON, Carrie May Noseworthy, Burin, sons in law Andrew Kilfoy, Marystown, Walter Chow, Nova Scotia and Leo Crews in Fortune; and a large number relatives and friends.

Leona is predeceased by her husband Ambrose, daughters Christine and Michelle, and sister Louise.

Rev. Hubert F. Tucker conducted the Funeral Service at Calvary United Church, Creston South, on Tuesday, Feb. 25th, 2014; at 2:00 pm. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery in Creston South.

In Leona’s memory, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Pall bearers were Max Matthews, Gerald Moulton, Jim Mallay, Herman Stacey, John Saint, and Chris Noseworthy.
