Passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Jeanette Lawlor, age 65 years. Predeceased by her parents, Rita and William Evans; and parents-in-law, Lottie and Michael Lawlor. Leaving with broken hearts and cherished memories are her loving husband and best friend of 45 years, Johnny Lawlor; her daughters and son-in-law, who will now forever carry her in their hearts, Karen Thistle (Jeff), and Juanita McCormack (Michael); her 7 sisters and 1 brother: Joan (Merrill), Judi (Lloyd), Janice (Graham), Joyce (Wally), Jackie (Gary), Gary (Lynn), Joy (Chris), Jill (John); her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Billy (Dot), Maureen (Pat), Raymond (Helena), Mick, Marie (Mike), Barb, Robert (Harriet); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family, and friends - including a special little girl in both mom and dad's lives, their "granddaughter" Jane McCormack. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, February 27, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Funeral Chapel on Friday, February 28, 2014, at 11:00am.
