Peacefully at her late residence on Saturday, November 8, 2008, of Mrs. Rachel V. (Kennific) MacDonald of Morell, age 68 years. Beloved wife of Joe “Bomber” MacDonald and dear mother of Joe (Ginny), Mike (Karen) and Kimberley (Scot). Rachel is also survived by nine loving grandchildren, Angie, Shara, Michelle, Maranda, Becca, Taylor, Kelsey, Krista and Jacob; sisters and brothers, Mary “Viney” Kennific, Bernie (Leo) MacDonald, Gennie (Carl) Pye, Eugene (Linda) Kennific, Rose (Ivy) Doucette, Leitha MacDougall and Gerry (Edie) Kennific. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Mae (nee Deveaux) MacDonald; brothers and sisters, Leo, Art, Aeneas, Olive McGrath, Teresa MacDonald and infant sisters, Emma and Shirley. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in St. Teresa Church of the Little Flower, Morell. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the parish cemetery fund.
