At the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, N.S., the passing of Heber “Junior” Johnstone age 71, of Cardigan North, devoted husband to Lucy (Campbell) Johnstone, occurred on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, with his loving family by his side.
Born August 18, 1942, he was the son of the late Heber and Frances (Stewart) Johnstone. Besides his devoted wife, Lucy, of 46 years, he is survived by his loving children, Ian (Andrea), Dean and Roxane Johnstone; brothers, Melvin (Arlene), Preston (Dale), Glen, Keir; sister, Valerie (Joe) Martell; sisters-in-law, Helen and Joyce; cherished grandchildren, Kaleb, Logan and Alyssa. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Wellington and Chester.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting hours on Thursday, February 27, 2014, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass to be held on Friday, February 28, 2014, at 11 a.m., from All Saints Catholic Church, Cardigan. Interment to take place in the parish cemetery.
