Batstone
Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 Gerald Carl Batstone age 75 years of Valleyfield. Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Caroline Batstone. Left with fond and cherished memories are his wife Shirley; sons Eugene(Yvonne) of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Paul(Donna) of Badger’s Quay and Glenn(Glennyth) of Slave Lake, AB.; daughter Angela(Glen Winsor) of Glovertown; grandchildren Jennifer, Janine, Andrew, Samantha, Alisha, Alex and Tarah; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Badger’s Quay on Friday, February 28, 2014 with Rev. Tim Graham officiating. Interment followed at The Anglican Church Cemetery, Badger’s Quay. As an expression of sympathy donations in his memory may be made to St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Badger’s Quay or to the Parkinson Society Newfoundland and Labrador.
