Helen Elizabeth Eaton
Passed away in Parkland Estates, Truro, on February 27, 2014. Born on March 16, 1922 in Crossroads, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Priscilla and Nathaniel Molyneaux.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul (2003); brothers, Franklin, Ernest (Myrtle), Lloyd (Greta) and Murdoch; sisters, Elsie (Jack) DeGrace, Kay (Cliff) Crouse, Rita (Charles) MacGregor and Eleanor (Robert) Boyer; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Connie and Jim Horsfall.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen, and son-in-law, Lindsey Jacobs, Truro; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Verna Eaton, Lower Cunard; sister-in-law, Ann Molyneaux, Trenton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Helen was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Truro, serving in Group 1. She was involved with the Westmount Park Garden Club for a number of years and a former member of the Colchester Regional Hospital Auxiliary. She was also an avid bridge player, gardener and always enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
The family is grateful for the loving care and kindness by the staff at Parkland Estates.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3, from 2-4 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Funeral service on Tuesday, March 4, at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church, 759 Prince Street, Truro with Dr. Frank Guinta Jr. officiating. Interment at a later date in Bible Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory may be made to the Memorial Music Fund at First Baptist Church, Truro.
