Peacefully, surrounded by his family and special musical friends, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, March 1, 2014, of Wayne Giffin of Summerside, aged 70 years. Born in Indian Point, Lunenburg County, N.S., he was the son of the late son of Cyril and Alice (Eisnor) Giffin. Survived by his wife Carol (Kettle) Giffin; son Todd (Melanie) Giffin; brother Larry (Pam), Halifax, N.S.; sister Nancy (Tom) Perry, Summerside; and by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where a private family service will be held. Visiting hours Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. only. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
