It is with great sadness that the family of the late Betty Garnier announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is her son Andre (Terri) of Brampton, Ontario, daughter Carol (Walter) of St. George’s, sister Mavis (Larry) White of St. George’s, 4 grandchildren: Rikki Boland (Paul), Danielle Maher (Kenny), Justin Garnier, and David and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Hubert Blanchard and Elizabeth Garnier, 4 brothers: Gus, Alvin, Harry and Howard, 1 sister, Patricia. Friends may call at St. Joseph’s Church in St. George’s on Monday, March 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral will take place on Tuesday March 4th at 10am with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetary, Shallop Cove.
